The Riley Elf and Wolsley Hornet: 1961-1969

The Riley Elf and Wolsley Hornet were the more luxurious Mini, for the opulent. Their unusual looks have found a dedicated fan base across the world.
In 1961,New Riley Elf and marginally more 'downmarket' Wolsley Hornet show their posh grilles and big back ends for the first time.

In 1962, Both the Elf and Hornet adopt their mark 2 guises, with a new 998cc engine and improved drum brakes

In 1966, For once the Elf and Hornet were the shapes of things to come as their mark 3 guises appeared with wind-up windows, no external door hinges, new air vents and a Cooper-type gearchange.

In 1969, Both the Elf and Hornet are dropped.
