In March 1960, come the van and the Morris Traveller/ Austin Countryman. Different to the estate of current day, the only had 2 doors and a boot. They were very popular and the "woodys" are very desirable now. The estates never got hydrolasic, so were always fitted with dry suspension.
In March 1961, all-steel Estate introduced. This has no wood, therefore making it lighter and it is one less thing to rot!
In 1967, the Mk II Estates are introduced which have 998cc engines.
