Matthew Taylor bought the car in May 2003 as a standard Tahiti. Since he bought it, it has had a new front end, sills, front floor and boot floor fitted and a full respray. Matthew calls it "my version of what Rover should have done with the mini!"

Tech Specs
Engine 1275cc carb engine, Playmini centre exit DTM exhaust, Cat removed, "Leyland ST" chrome rocker cover
Gearbox Standard Rover 4 speed all-synchro manual transmission.
Suspension Standard allround (soon to be uprated and lowered)
Brakes 8.4 inch solid discs on the front with twin-pot Iron callipers, iron drums on the rear. (soon too uprated to EBC discs and EBC GreenStuff pads)
Wheels and Tyres 13x6 Superlite alloys, Yokohama A-008 tyres
Exterior

Tahiti blue with "Tahiti" logos on rear quarters (resprayed 2003), Grp 5 arches, clear front and rear lenses, Cooper grill, colour coded door mirrors and number plate light, mini winged badges on front and rear with "MINI" script re-located,

Interior Standard "Tahiti" seats and door cards, Mountney 12" steering wheel, 8-ball gear knob, blue interior neon light, re-trimmed rear shelf without speaker holes
ICE JVC single cd player, kenwood 6.5" component speakers housed in custom console speaker pods, 12" Pro Plus subwoofer powered by RM Audio amplifier in custom boot build.
