Pauls Mk1 Project

Well here we go! I recently bought a 1961 Mk1 Mini. It took a round trip of 12 hrs to pick this thing up on a back of a transporter. He initially wanted £700.00 for it, but due to not having a tow bar or trailer to collect, it was going to cost me the best part of £200 for a hitch + hire of a trailer to pick it up, so we settled for £500.
On condition, it is what he says it is, i.e. body is completely sound apart from the front panel which has seen better days It will need a complete restoration though, as it had already been stripped of bits and a lot of fur inside. Thankfully all the bits are nicely put into boxes so there is not a lot missing from this car.
I also picked up a complete metro turbo car T&T for £150. Bit of a bargain i thought.
It might take me a while as my time is limited to be tinkering in the garage all night as one does lead a busy life....
